Create a Race
maybe you're looking for something unique? Perhaps something that doesn't currently exist? If that is the case, than look no further than 'create a race'. Here, players can create their own alien species by picking through a few lists of racial advantages and transformations.
When designing your race, select One Biological advantage, one Psychological advantage, and one Evolutionary Advantage. After selecting the following, chose one transformation path.
Biological Advantages
-Semi-Aquatic. You are from a race that is either Semi-Aquatic or Amphibious. You can breathe while underwater and gain +10 to either STR, END, or AGI while fully submerged (STR, END, or AGI must be chosen at character creation).
-Alpine. You are from a mammalian race that lives in a mountainous environment. Your base stats cannot be reduced by an opponent's technique, ability, or racial advantage.
-Nomadic. You are from a mammalian race that travels across large plains. You gain a passive +10 to AGI at the start of a thread, but lose this bonus after taking moderate damage or greater.
-Urban. You are from a mammalian race of city-dwellers. You begin play with one item that costs 3,000 Zeni or less.
-Reptilian. You are from a race of reptilians with scaly skin. You gain a passive +10 to END, but lose this bonus after dodging an opponent's attack.
-Avian. You are from a race with many bird-like features. While flying you gain +5 to AGI and FOC, however flying becomes a minor technique with a duration of 5 posts.
-Custom. Create a custom advantage for your character that is somehow related to your character's biology. (Note: Custom advantages will be scrutinized on a case by case basis)
-Predatory. You are from a carnivorous warrior race. If you inflict moderate damage or greater to an opponent, increase all stats by +5 for one post thereafter.
-Pacifistic. You are from a race of levelheaded pacifists, but still have some fight in you. You gain a passive +10 to END at the start of a thread, but lose this bonus after inflicting moderate damage to an opponent.
-Malicious. You are from a race of especially malicious and evil beings. Somehow, you are naturally capable of weakening your opponent's abilities. At character creation, chose one stat. Once per thread, the opponent receives -10 to the selected stat for 3 posts.
-Benevolent. You are from a race of especially gracious and caring creatures. Somehow, you are naturally capable of enhancing the abilities of others. Once per thread, increase one character's stats by +5 each for two posts, and heal that character from minor damage. This effect cannot be used on one's self.
-Heroic. You are from a race of guardians and protectors, a natural hero. When an attack is made against an ally by an opponent, you can opt to take the damage of that attack for your ally. If you do so, you gain +5 to each stat for the next two posts, but cannot use this ability again for the next three posts.
-Lone Wolf. You are from a race of solitary people. When fighting without an ally's assistance, gain +5 to STR and FOC.
-Custom. Created a custom advantage for your character that is somehow related to their psychology. (Note: Custom advantages will be scrutinized on a case by case basis)

Evolutionary Advantages
-Learn from Mistakes. You're race is good at learning from their mistakes. When taking an attack that deals major damage or greater, gain +15 Dragon coins.
-Open Minded. You're race is capable of reserving their strength for the purposes of learning. When entering a thread, you can chose to enter at 80% of your base PL, doing so grants an additional +10 Dragon Coins per post. A character cannot reach 100% of their base PL for the duration of the thread.
-Competitive. Your race is quite competitive with that of others. While in a thread with another character who possesses a higher power level than your own, gain an additional +10 Dragon Coins per post.
-Kinesthetic Learner. Your race tends to learn by doing, rather than other methods. Any time you inflict major damage or greater to an opponent, gain +15 Dragon Coins.
-Custom. Create a custom advantage for your character that assists with gaining Dragon Coins or Zeni. This can be sacrificed for a second custom Biological advantage. (Note: Custom advantages will be scrutinized on a case by case basis)
