Alliances
When characters create bonds between one another, or simply wish to create some sort of fighting force, alliances come into effect. Any player can create an alliance, but it requires at least two players to form. There is no set template for alliance creation, as players are encouraged to design their own alliance page. Alliances can be as simple or complex as one desires.
Some Alliances are ran by NPCs. These groups can be joined at character creation, or at a later date by stating you would like your character to join.
Alliance Military Activities
Alliances can partake in certain activities after gaining a significant number of players. Alliances can claim their own territory throughout the galaxy and either rule benevolently, or as a tyrant. Participating in alliance activities does open up your alliance to counter attacks. That said, the following are a list of activities and the required number of members to participate in those activities. An Alliance Military Activity can be preformed once a month.

Raids | Your alliance is capable of raiding an area for it's raw resources, and destroying all in their path. This activity can be conducted against another alliance's holding. Players of the attacking faction will attempt to destroy and steal from the opponent's hold. A raid is considered successful after 8 rounds have passed, or if all defenders have been pacified/defeated. Rewards: 50% of the Zeni used to build the holding prior to raiding becomes the attacker's, additionally the hold and it's attachments are destroyed... | Three participants on the side of the attackers. If a faction refuses to defend against a raid, it is considered to be a victory for the attackers. The defenders can have their stationed NPCs retreat to a different hold, should they own one. |
Conquests | Your alliance is capable of staging assaults against other alliance's holding. In a conquest, an alliance attempts to gain control of another's hold for their own use. A conquest is only considered successful after all opponents have been defeated or retreat. Rewards: your alliance gains the hold for your own use. | Three participants on the side of the attackers, assisted by at least one platoon of NPCs. If a faction refuses to defend against a conquest, it is considered to be a victory for the attackers. The defenders can have their stationed NPCs retreat to a different hold, should they own one. |
Negotiations | Your alliance is capable of gaining new land for the purpose of placing a hold through negotiation with the locals. The alliance leader will need to contact a mod or admin. The staff member will give the alliance a mission they have to accomplish, which the alliance will have to make a thread revolving around with at least 10 posts collectively. Rewards: Land to place a holding on a single planet. | Two participants in the thread. |
Bartering | Your alliance is capable of purchasing land to place a holding on. Purchasing this land costs 30,000 Zeni. | No participants required. |
Coup d'état | Your alliance is capable of overthrowing a planet's government and replacing it with your own. The alliance leader will need to contact a mod or admin, who will RP as the planet's government they are trying to over throw. To successfully overthrow a planet's government, the alliance will have to make two threads, one about preparation for the Coup, and another about the actual Coup itself. Rewards: You can place holdings anywhere on the planet, other alliances cannot place their own holdings there, the cost of purchasing NPCs from this planet is reduced by 10%. (NOTE: this activity can only be done against a planet that is not governed by another alliance) | Two participants in the first thread, three participants in the second. Additionally, the revolutionaries must be assisted by at least one company of NPCs. |
Establish Government | After completing a Coup d'état or Planetary Invasion, you may attempt to establish a more advanced government. In order to do this, you must have at least two holds on the same planet and have completed a Coup d'état or Planetary Invasion on the planet. Establishing a Government prevents other alliances from conducting raids or conquests against holds on the selected world. Opposing Alliances may only preform Planetary Invasions against your world. | No participants required. |
Planetary Invasion | The most taxing and dangerous of all activities. Alliances are capable of preforming planetary invasions against worlds, and conqueror the entire planet in one fell swoop. Rewards: Your alliance gains all holds stationed on the world being invaded, additionally, you gain the same rewards as if a Coup d'état was preformed. | Three participants on the side of the attackers, assisted by at least one battalion of NPCs. If a faction refuses to defend against an invasion, it is considered to be a victory for the attackers. The defenders can have their stationed NPCs retreat to a different hold, should they own one. |
Alliance Civil Activities
While Alliances are only allowed to partake in one "Military" activity each month, "Civil" activities can be done once a week. Civil activities are generally less impactful than military ones.

Property Tax | Select one world that your alliance has established government on. All members of your alliance gain +1000 Zeni multiplied by the number of holds on the planet.
